Rétromobile, Cars That Make You Dream - January 2025

From February 5 to 9, 2025, the Parc des Expositions at Porte de Versailles hosted the 49th edition of the Rétromobile show, bringing together more than 146,000 classic car enthusiasts, a record attendance that demonstrates the growing enthusiasm for this iconic event. Upon entering Pavilion 2, one discovers a vast, colorful space where visitors crowd around the gleaming bodies of classic cars. The atmosphere is electric: the mostly male audience of all ages mingle and slowly move through the show halls, smiling and loudly speaking, their eyes fixed on the stands. Among the show's highlights, the "DS, a work of art for 70 years" exhibition captivated visitors, highlighting the legendary Citroën DS, including the famous "DS Ballons" recreated by students from GARAC, the French National School of Automotive Professions.
Immersive exhibitions, a live stage hosted by Jean-Louis Moncet at the heart of the F1 exhibition, and a "Time on Show" collector's watch sales gallery were new innovations this year.
The auction organized by Artcurial Motorcars was another highlight, with 87% of lots sold for a total of €24.6 million.

Retromobile 2025 seems to be the event for collector car enthusiasts.
